Questions

When is it too late to get an abortion?

In the United States, the legality of abortion varies by state. In Missouri, surgical abortions can be performed up to 21 weeks and 6 days from the last menstrual period (LMP).

The most critical information you need to find out is how far along you are in your pregnancy.

At Pregnancy Care Center (PCC), your pregnancy will be verified first by a pregnancy test. Regardless of which options you are considering, an ultrasound can be performed in order to better determine the gestational age. Once you have verified information about your pregnancy, you will be better prepared to make decisions.

Pregnancy Care Center cares about the whole client and has a variety of services available to all clients.  Our services start with a pregnancy test and continue with ultrasound, coaching, classes, and a safe, supportive environment. Abortion, adoption, and parenting are all choices you have when you discover you are pregnant.  The Pregnancy Care Center has educational information about all three choices.

Although Springfield Pregnancy Care Center does not perform nor refer for abortions, we are here to provide support for you as you face a possible unplanned pregnancy.  Our hope is to educate women about all of their options.
